Dr. Saavedra is an endocrinologist at The Endocrine Office, Inc in the Lehigh Valley area for almost 25 years. He completed his medical school in Lima, Peru before he finished his residency in Internal Medicine in an affiliated hospital to University of Illinois in Chicago. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois where he stay as faculty in the fellowship program for another 2 years before he migrated to the Lehigh Valley area.
He is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and active member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists , the American Diabetes Association and The Endocrine Society.
Dr. Saavedra is committed to obtain favorable outcomes in different endocrinological disorders, including Diabetes care. He is affiliated with Lehigh Valley Hospital where he follows his patients when they are hospitalized.
